We’ve been talking about advisory work a lot lately. Companies are doing more with less resources these days.
HR departments are spread thin. Plans are changing fast. While hiring has slowed, it has picked up in quite a few sectors.
Those are just a few reasons why we launched a talent advisory practice. A lot of engagements start small. Even spending a few hours per week can set up companies for success.
What happens if you don’t have a plan? Nothing good, that’s for sure.
Listen to the latest talent rant from James and Jeff as they dive deep on this one.
The 10 Minute Talent Rant, Ep 84 "Does Anyone Actually Have A Talent Strategy?"
In our last 10 Minute Talent Rant (“Dumb Hiring Ideas Are Back, Baby!”), we had a little fun dunking on all the worst practices that have popped back up as hiring rebounds. But what we didn’t get into: Why?
Why does it seem like nothing ever changes? Why do we see the same annoying issues in talent acquisition over and over again?
Tldr: Bad tactics come from bad strategy. Or rather no strategy at all. Jeff Smith and James Hornick will discuss how companies can think differently (and better) in episode 84 of The 10 Minute Talent Rant, “Does Anyone Actually Have A Talent Strategy?”
