Good morning-

There is a lot to talk about this week.

We’ve got the sixth installment of Hirewell’s quarterly Data Insights. For the past 5 quarters, we’d seen all indicators up and to the right. Spoiler - that isn’t the case this quarter. We officially saw a peak in hiring data a few months ago (shocker).

The hiring market may be down but it certainly isn’t dead. Some industries cooled while others are still piping hot.

The most in-demand positions are changing fast. Hiring within tech slowed. Supply chain and manufacturing are up. Sales hiring (especially in tech) was down and marketing was up.

We just saw another big rate increase by the Fed and all eyes will be on Friday’s jobs number. Tune in to see me and James Hornick cover the real numbers Hirewell’s seeing in the hiring market. We try and understand how inflation and rising interest rates have affected the hiring market so far in “Hirewell Data Insights: Hiring Trends Q4 2022".
